The Bachelor of Education in Senior Phase and Further Education and Training Teaching is a professional undergraduate teaching qualification designed to prepare competent, reflective and ethically responsible teachers for the Senior Phase and FET band.
The programme develops strong competence in subject specialisation, teaching methodology, curriculum implementation, assessment, inclusive education, classroom management, educational psychology, professional ethics, digital learning and educational research. Entry Requirements
Applicants should generally hold:
- a National Senior Certificate (NSC) granting admission to Bachelor’s Degree studies; or
- a recognised equivalent qualification.
Recognition of Prior Learning may also be considered in accordance with the institution’s approved RPL policy and applicable regulatory requirements.
